Get To Know Lora
Lora D. Williams is an Author, Consultant, International Speaker, Nurse, and Philanthropist. She is passionate about helping people from all walks of life. From developing, and overseeing programs that empower people; to traveling to Africa to ensure that families have their needs met by ensuring that there are no barriers to education; to investing in the access to clean water.

The task at hand of raising awareness around the issue of child abuse in our nation and the world can be overwhelming. I am humbled by women who are doing their part. Chicktime seeks women willing to establish local chapters and lead the effort to spend time with the broken, encourage them to overcome, and pursue their passions to make the world a better place. Chicktime believes that when women come in contact with victims of abuse and/or neglect, they will remember the experience and fight for better laws and better funding for the charities that care for them. Too many women feel powerless when it comes to actually doing something to stop abuse… and Chicktime exists to empower them. Lora Williams is a leader in every sense of the word. There is something extraordinary about Lora. She is determined to move swiftly and accurately to help women and children see their value. She works diligently to create programs that bring hope to the hurting and also raise awareness for the suffering in an effort to inspire a broader circle of those advocating for these women and children. Lora is the epitome of passion in action. From creating bible study programs at the Gary Job Corp, to founding her own Chicktime chapter in San Marcos, TX, to starting up the Austin chapter of Women of Vision, through her teaching and preaching engagements, and now through sharing her wisdom through her new book, Woman Arise. I am so very proud to be a small part of Lora’s story and so happy she is my friend.
