In [2013], Lora had the privilege to serve with Well Aware, an organization that provides clean water in countries that are in need. During her time in Kenya, Lora taught and trained about hygiene and sanitation practices in order to prevent and decrease waterborne disease incidences in the community.

Lora Williams, founder and leader of the Chicktime San Marcos chapter has partnered with the Gary Job Corp.
First a student & now Alumni of the Gary Job Corp program.
In her words… I personally know their struggle and their heart for change. Being a graduate of Gary Job Corp San Marcos, serving here is like being at home with family. It’s a unique opportunity to be able to come back, and give back. To a place where my transformational journey with God begun. I’m a living testimony concerning the transformational power of Christ.

Lora, currently a nurse, has been in the healthcare field since she was sixteen years old. She partnered with Skillspoint Alliance in [2016] by encouraging and empowering the adults that complete the program through motivational speeches. Skillspoint Alliance aims to facilitate and sustain industry-led workforce development solutions, while addressing the need to develop local talent and provide educational opportunities to create more college and career success for citizens.

Lora also serves a one of founding members of World Women of Vision Austin chapter. Women of Vision are women called to gather together and act on behalf of those caught in the margins of poverty and oppression.

“We are servants, givers, advocates. We are a movement of God joining women at the heart to build a better world for vulnerable women and children.”
